Just when Ja Rule thought his career was back on track, he hits a snag in his plan.
According to ABC News, lawyer Mark Geragos has filed a class action $100 million lawsuit against Ja Rule and the organizers of Fyre Festival. The suit is on behalf of Daniel Jung and several other Fyre Fest attendees, who claim that there wasn’t “adequate food, water, shelter, and medical care” on the island.
The suit also claims, that the festival was “nothing more than a get-rich-quick scam from the very beginning.”
Ja Rule has publicly apologized and the Fyre Fest guru Ben McFarland says the event will be postponed until 2018 where attendees who have already bought tickets will be able to come for free.
After all this, who's to say anyone would want to go. Would you?
