Please do not take this the wrong way, but it is a serious question that must be answered!
I 100% support those who are transgender and choose to live their lives in a more positive and happier environment. I love all people and would never want someone to be forced to be something they are not. As an advocate for doing what's best for you, I think those who choose to make the transition are doing exactly that.
Now, where I have a problem, is how it's being portrayed to the rest of the world. Since the outing of Caitlynn Jenner, there has been more announcements of shows exhibiting this lifestyle and the authenticity of it is becoming sketchy.
Love and Hip Hop Hollywood will be adding the first gay rapper to their line up, and RHOA are adding Transgender Amiyah Scott...... it's starting to look like a gimmick!
People like Lavern Cox , fought to get to where they are in their careers , and there are producers and casting directors that are turning it all into a circus!
I get it, just like Black Culture has been the "It" thing, with fuller lips, hips, and butts. Now being a transgender on a break out is the new black!
Every lifestyle does not have to be made a mockery!
